Ciro
Ciro is a no-frills pizza joint: old school, generous, everything served on disposable (still! …woke sigh), and cheap. The pizza is by no means world beating but it's very good, especially for the price you pay. The guys are really friendly and it's got a lovely set of light wood high tables, that sit on the corner of the piazza and are the main eating area. A not-so-little pizza here and a not-so-little bottle of Peroni red is a great way to pass an hour or two.
To find Ciro take a walk down Via Principi di Savoia from Porta Napoli towards the bars and restaurants at Santa Croce... a few hundred yards down on your left (from Porta Napoli) you'll find Piazzetta Giorgio Baglivi. It’s a cute and humble little piazzetta that sits in front of the grand Parrocchia Santa Maria della Provvidenza (big old church). Despite being very central, this little piazzetta seems to escape the main hubris of Lecce, basically because there’s nothing there, except for Ciro.
Ciro is way too old school to really nail the lighting (the lights are just bright), but it's still a very cute spot at night.
